Atkinson & Co. has been serving business enterprises in the Southwest since 1970. During this time, the firm has developed a reputation for quality, reliability and personal service. As one of the largest locally owned New Mexico public accounting and consulting firms, Atkinson & Co. has an extensive tax, tax planning, accounting, auditing and consulting practice. The firm also has very strong pension, estate, litigation support, IT, and business advisory service practices.

Atkinson & Co. serves clients in a variety of industries, including construction, not-for-profit, medical, manufacturing, and legal. The firm employs 60 professionals serving clients in New Mexico and surrounding states, including clients with operations in Mexico. Included in our practice is the Small Business Resource Group, a team of bookkeepers, information systems personnel, and CPAs designed to help our clients.

The firm is a member of the AICPA Peer Review Program and has received unqualified reports on all eight peer reviews conducted. The firm is also a past recipient of the Ethics In Business Award. The firm is a past recipient of six CPA Digest 50 Awards given annually to only 50 CPA firms nationwide to recognize quality practice management and client service. We have also been previously recognized three years in a row as one of the outstanding firms in the United States by Accounting Today.
